Merry Christmas, Mom and Dad
holidays". One of which I never thought I'd know so early. The trip to
Alabama wasn't all so somber, but it's what I've got for right now.
Missing you both so deep that I sometimes can't see straight--- k.

Halloween 2009 pics
trick or treating this year! He dressed up as a tiger and went for a
big night trick-or-treating with his best friend Superman Carson!
They rode in the wagon to the different houses and then would hop out,
and run up to the door! Bryson would knock on the door and announce
"It's Brysey and Carsey!" When we came home, Bryson spread out all
his candy on the living room table and separated all the candy into
little stacks of like-candy...and would say "I'm gonna eat it!". His
little bucket got so heavy that towards the end of the adventure, he
would just drop it at random or say "you can carry it?" He really
enjoyed being a tiger this year and would walk around with his paws up
saying "grrr". [just for recap, Halloween 07: hot dog, Halloween 08:
Yoda, Halloween 09: Tiger] I'm not sure how he would have possibly
understood what to do for Yoda, so I'm glad we got away with that one
before he really "got" Halloween!
We also had a surprise visit back at our own house by the little
flower, Juleanna! Bryson's cousin looked so cute all dressed up for
Halloween! Overall, Halloween 09 was a big success! We only had one
incident of a "scary monster" where a fully costumed adult with mask
welcomed the little tricksters - Bryson and Carson backed slowly away
from the door until he took the mask off. All night long (and for the
next few nights) Bryson talked about how the "scary monster scared
me!" He'd also say, "It's just a costume mommy like Brysey. Like my
tiger. It's not scary mommy!" That's right, my silly little tiger.
;) love you brysey bear - hope you had a great Halloween!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN 2009

Hope everyone has a safe and Happy Halloween - and enjoys the horrendous quality of my lovely cell phone camera taking pictures of pictures. Totally lame, I know. I should really start investing more time to my blogging/photography. Where does the time go? Love Bryson (2.5 years) and cousin, Juleanna (2 months)

just beachy!
Bryson,
I just wanted to tell you thank you for such a fantastic "first vacation"! You are such an amazing little boy and I'm so glad that we were there to experience your first look at the ocean! You looked so cute in your swim trunks and I've never seen anyone so excited for "sinscreen" (I mean, who doesnt love screens of sin, right). When we got to the condo (thanks Uncle Lynn!), even though it was 5 in the morning..and you had been in the car for 10 hours, you ran around looking at everything saying "look at this!" Amazed with everything new, your innocence was refreshing and relaxing. You laughed the first time you touched the sand, and walked with confidence out to the shore, hand in hand with your dad.
You liked to play in the sand, and would scoop up wet sand with your shovel and say, "are you ready for a cookie? Here ya go!" And with a delicate touch, would release the sand cookie into our hands.
Although you preferred the swimming pool, you liked for your dad to carry you out into the ocean. With each step, you would say, "go more! go that way!". Totally fearless..the blessing and the curse. You were a very good vacationer...you ate well, slept late, and lounged by the pool. You took to the water like a pro, and were dog paddling through the deep end (with floaties) within minutes.
Pretty good for your first time in a "big pool". As you paddled, you would say, "keep keep swimming...keep keep swimming"..just like you remembered Dorey saying from Nemo. It was so frickin' cute. Your dad even said, "maybe we need to reconsider that whole pool idea". Minimal fit throwage occured, and we thank you for that! We also thank you for being such a tropper while mom and dad shopped all day at the outlet mall. In each store, you'd talk to everybody and say, "Whatya doin today!?" and "My names Brysonjay!" Everyone constantly said how cute and sweet you were. Well, for the most part, kiddo. ;)
Cookies by the pool. Staying up late. Chocolate chip pancakes. Juice boxes on the balcony. Sandy toes. Shopping Hudson's at 10 pm (with really, really, bad hair). Good friends. Finding the bag of colors in the night stand...and dumping them out..and from the hallway hearing you say, "Better show mommy".
Outlet shopping "I need this hat!" Sprite/Grape popsicles. Scoops Ice Cream "I need chocccklate and sprinkles at Coops!" "I like sin screen!" "I needa call mema!" "Hello, mema! Are you there? I having fun on my bay-cation!" We sure did, and we love you for making it such a special one. We can't wait to take you back!
We truly are blessed with you, little man. Even on your hardest day, you have brought so much joy and love to our lives. You have a personality as big as the ocean, and we wouldn't change it for the world. (But you know, if you weren't such a grouch in the morning..it wouldn't hurt my feelings..) ;) You are a strong, independent, loving, silly, intelligent, carefree little goofball. And we "love you the best, best, best, best, best!"
Love, Mommy and Daddy
